We\’re looking for a SIAMS Case Study Library Project Officer to join our Education department.

About the Department/Role

The role is with the National SIAMS Team within the National Society for Education (NSE). SIAMS stands for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools, which is a vital part of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England. The inspection assesses how each school\’s Christian vision influences its work and supports pupils and staff to flourish.

What you\’ll be doing

The purpose of this role is to manage the online SIAMS case study library, showcasing exemplary or innovative practices that support other Church schools based on recent SIAMS inspections.

Main duties include:

  1. Liaising with schools, inspectors, QA inspectors, and diocesan teams to assess case study suitability.
  2. Consulting with the Director or Deputy Director of SIAMS for final inclusion decisions.
  3. Gathering required information from schools and ensuring all consents are obtained.
  4. Overseeing content quality to ensure relevance, reliability, and accessibility for the target audience.
  5. Collaborating with the marketing team to present case studies on the SIAMS website with appropriate editing.

Key role requirements:

  • This role is for 14 hours per week on two weekdays, to be agreed with the successful candidate.
  • It is a Monday-Friday term-time only position with an hour unpaid lunch break.

  • A salary of £16,228.80 per annum (£40,572 FTE), with pension contributions of 8-15% of salary, and matching up to an additional 3%.
