The Diocese of York seeks a new Vicar for the coastal parish of Coatham and Dormanstown, serving Christ Church, Coatham and All Saints, Dormanstown on the Redcar coastline. The role is full‑time and supported by diocesan funding and a well‑presented four‑bedroom detached vicarage beside All Saints Church.

Responsibilities

  • Lead worship and guide theological study, helping the congregation deepen its faith and engage with Living Christ’s Story.
  • Expand the parish’s outreach ministries, building on successful initiatives such as the church shop, food bank partnerships and school relationships.
  • Foster stronger connections within the two parish communities and the wider area, especially with younger people and families.
  • Collaborate with lay leadership, churchwardens and the Parish Council to ensure effective governance and support.
