The Society for the Maintenance of the Faith seeks to appoint a Rector of Ovingdean House-for-duty in the Deanery of Brighton. A lively, enthusiastic, committed and growing church family, with a beautiful Norman church, in a single parish benefice, in a delightful village, on the edge of a vibrant city, very near the sea, is looking for a man or woman to be their new parish priest to lead them further and deeper into the exciting life of faith.
We are looking for someone who has:

- Love and respect for creation
- Values the Eucharist as the central act of Sunday worship and is also able to embrace different traditions in liturgy and worship.
There is a spacious house and garden, sound church finances, good lay management and an active and enthusiastic congregation. This is a House for Duty post, with an expectation that the office holder will give the equivalent of 2.5 days per week, including all or part of Sunday.
