Christ the Cornerstone is a church of immense significance and potential in the new and growing city of Milton Keynes. The Diocese is seeking an experienced and visionary priest to lead the ecumenical ministerial team at a key moment in the life of the church and of the city.
We are looking for a Vicar who:
- comes alive in a fertile setting of urgent missional and evangelistic need
- will be a senior colleague who can both lead and be a team player
- will offer the richness that the Anglican tradition can contribute to our ecumenical heritage
- will help us identify and develop the talents and gifts amongst our lay members
- has the good judgement to appreciate the scope of ministry potential and embrace it gladly
- has an intuitive ability to provide compassionate, attentive pastoral care
- has experience of confident engagement with civic and business communities in a vibrant cityscape
