The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
To assist in the day-to-day operations of the Finance department. Supporting the Finance Team through data entry (purchase invoices, accounting journals, sales invoices), responding to internal and external queries, assisting with cash handling, Parish contact for investment queries and other duties as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Purchase Ledger Control ensuring correct input and preparing invoices for BACS payment runs.
- Matching and coding purchase orders, raising queries where necessary.
- Supplier Statement reconciliation, responding to queries internally and externally.
- Posting expenses ensuring prompt payment.
- Reconciling and posting Credit Card transactions.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable and Finance email inboxes.
- Be the contact for Parishes accessing investment statements via an online portal.
- Assisting with posting Sales invoices.
- Assist with Council Tax and Utility Bill reconciliations, highlighting queries.
- Assist with Cathedral cash counting adhering to Cash Handling and accounting policies at all times.
- Supporting internal and external customers with queries.
- Other relevant duties and tasks commensurate with the role as requested by the Finance Director.
The post holder will undertake other relevant duties as may be requested from time to time and commensurate with the role.
