Set in the heart of Hove on the glorious Palmeira Square, St John the Baptist is a welcoming and prayerful parish, seeking a priest who will help deepen our life of worship and enable us to flourish as a sacred space in a vibrant location.
We are praying for a priest who:
- Has strong relational gifts and a pastoral heart
- Flourishes within an eucharistic tradition
- Is deeply rooted in prayer
- Enjoys working collaboratively with gifted, committed lay people
- Encourages creativity in worship, hospitality and service
- Will help us develop our digital presence and use of social media
- Can communicate the mysteries of faith in generous, engaging and accessible ways.
An attractive modern town house is available, within walking distance of both the church and the seafront.
