The Children and Families Worker will play a key role in helping St Nicholas’ Cramlington reach children and families with the good news of Jesus Christ. This one-year post will focus on developing sustainable ministry by raising up, training, and supporting volunteers to lead and grow children's discipleship across the church.

Working closely with clergy, lay leaders, and local schools, the successful candidate will strengthen existing relationships with families and perceive new opportunities for evangelism, discipleship, and community engagement. Rather than primarily leading Sunday ministry themselves, the post holder will build teams and systems that enable children's work to flourish across multiple age groups.

They will help establish and develop schools ministry within the parish, foster strong partnerships with local schools, and support the church in welcoming and integrating children and families into the life of the congregation.
