The Cherwell Valley is a beautiful area to live and work in, containing six villages and the developing new town on Heyford Park, with committed local church communities and much to celebrate and to develop further.
We are seeking a priest who:
- is prayerful, loving God and people, and enjoys helping others to explore and go deeper in faith.
- would relish working in diverse settings and respond to the opportunities and needs they encounter with warmth, imagination and a pastoral heart.
- will help to lead the church communities and the wider benefice in renewal and opportunities for development.
We can offer:
- a supportive, collaborative Team, meeting weekly to review and plan ahead.
- welcoming and friendly local church communities, with a range of opportunities for the appointee to contribute and encourage in each place, in local schools and across the benefice as a whole
- an excellent four-bedroom vicarage in Fritwell village, in the centre of the benefice and with easy access to local towns and cities, and by train to Birmingham and London.
