Voluntary governance role, approximately 5 days per year for a term of 3 years initially. Ely Cathedral is seeking to appoint a new Chairperson for our Audit and Risk Committee, due to the retirement of the former Chair. The post is currently being filled on an interim basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Audit and Risk Committee in their work covering finance, audit, risk and compliance in relation to the cathedral.
Qualifications
- Academic or professional qualification in accountancy, finance, risk or compliance.
- Professional financial experience in the private, public or charitable sectors.
- Experience of effectively chairing professional meetings at a senior level.
