We're looking for an experienced M365 Engineer to join a high-profile financial services organisation in London. This role will play a key part in delivering and configuring secure Microsoft 365 environments, working closely with architects and operational teams to implement enterprise-grade collaboration and security solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365 engineering experience who enjoys working in structured, highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Route to Live Tenant Build: Build and configure route to live tenant environments based on defined technical patterns, including provisioning and baseline configuration.
  • Mail Flow & Security: Configure Exchange Online mail flow rules, connectors, and security controls as set out in the solution designs.
  • BYOK Implementation: Implement BYOK encryption within M365 services based on architect-provided designs, including key deployment and rotation.
  • SharePoint Online Configuration: Configure SharePoint Online in line with defined patterns, including site structure, permissions, and sharing policies.
  • Operational Delivery: Deliver configurations within change management frameworks and work closely with architects to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Experience needed

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and engineering.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Purview/Compliance features
    • Azure AD/Entra ID
  • Experience configuring mail flow, connectors, and M365 security controls.
  • Knowledge of BYOK encryption implementation within Microsoft environments.
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments, ideally financial services.
  • Strong understanding of change and release management processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid working model - 3 days per week onsite in London.
  • Collaborative project environment within a large-scale enterprise technology programme.
