St. Padarn’s Institute is looking to appoint a multi‑skilled Catering Assistant. The successful candidate will be working predominantly Monday to Friday 07.30-13.30hrs or 13.30-20.00hrs in an educational setting. Some weekend working will also be required from time to time.
The successful applicant will have a broad range of general cooking and food preparation and kitchen cleaning skills, previous experience in a similar role with a Level 2 Award in Food Safety. An average week would be around 26 hours, term‑time only (39 weeks a year). The weekly hours will vary depending on business needs, i.e. some weekly hours could be more or less than 26. Annual leave will need to be taken out of term time.
As a Catering Assistant, working within a friendly and supportive team, you will be contributing to the sense of community that is at the heart of our work at St Padarn’s.
