We are seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants to join our team at Church Farm at Field House in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. These roles are vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents known as Family Members, contributing directly to their comfort and well-being. This role is a full-time position working the below shifts:
- Full-time - 32.5 hours per week, 5 shifts per week working 8am - 3pm with a 30-minute unpaid break per shift.
- There will be a requirement to work alternative weekends in both roles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for residents.
- Support the care team by maintaining cleanliness in communal areas.
- Assist with laundry services as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through friendly interactions.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills.
- Uphold the values of Church Farm Care in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
