We are seeking two dedicated Domestic Assistants to join our team at Church Farm at Rusticus in Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents known as Family Members, contributing directly to their comfort and well‑being. These roles are part‑time positions working the below shifts:

  • Role 1 – 17.25 hours per week, 3 shifts per week, 2pm - 8pm with a 15‑minute unpaid break per shift.
  • Role 2 – 20.1 hours per week, 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week, 2pm - 8pm with a 15‑minute unpaid break per shift.

There will be a requirement to work alternative weekends in both roles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for residents.
  • Support the care team by maintaining cleanliness in communal areas.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents through friendly interactions.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills.
  • Uphold the values of Church Farm Care in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
