Are you an experienced international account manager looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have a proven track record in driving sales and profit growth through effective distributor management and market expansion? If the answer is yes, then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a permanent International Account Manager to join our dynamic team based in our London office with Hybrid working.

As an International Account Manager, you will be the strategic expert and main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for building businesses from scratch in key markets, managing distributors, and ensuring alignment with our brand strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Identify and appoint top distribution partners in key markets. Drive sales and profit targets through effective distributor management. Monitor in-market sales, distributor stock levels, and take necessary actions to achieve budget. Analyse sales and brand performance to drive further profitable growth.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing activity calendars with distributors. Collaborate with International and local Brand Managers to ensure marketing activities align with brand strategy. Oversee the successful implementation of marketing activities and new product developments. Document and account for funded marketing activities. Keep management informed of relevant market intelligence.
  • Financial: Manage all aspects of Customer P&L, including marketing investments. Prepare profit forecasts, sales and A&P budgets per distributor, and conduct quarterly reviews. Monitor and control market profitability, reporting monthly on performance. Allocate marketing budgets, verify invoices, and ensure transparency in expenditures.
  • Distributors: Motivate, challenge, and support distributors to maximize sales and profit growth. Evaluate existing and potential new distributor performance. Identify, recommend, and appoint new distributors in greenfield areas. Manage business transfers between distributors as needed. Set and control pricing with GMG Director approval. Oversee launches of new brands and SKUs with assistance from the international marketing department.
  • Logistics: Input monthly demand forecasting and liaise with Export Customer Service and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment.

The ideal candidate will have significant international experience in building businesses within Western & Eastern Europe region and a proven track record in Global Markets (Export) Account Management within the FMCG sector. Experience with multi-channel FDM is desirable. You will possess strong marketing and brand-building knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a demonstrable record of progress and achievement. You will also have a proven ability to develop new territories in the Region and be proficient in MS Office programs.

In addition you will have the following:

Working hours are 37 per week: Monday – Thursday 9-5pm and Friday 9-4.30pm. Flexibility outside of these hours may be required to meet the needs of the role and there will be frequent travel often involving overnight stays.
