Join our Global Markets Group (GMG) Finance Team as GMG Financial Controller and play a key role in standardising our end-to-end finance processes. This position is responsible for analysing current finance‑related processes in scope for GMG and redefining/creating processes that can be standardised across regions. This role will supervise 1 direct report, ensuring the accurate reporting of financials from GMG entity. This role is based at our UK Corporate Office in Folkestone, Kent, offering home working for up to 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardise, improve, simplify and document processes across regions (by working with cross‑functional partners) including but not limited to: Reporting, and profitability (both in Oracle and PowerBi), Expense management, Global Pricing, GMG Entity.
- Train teams on new processes/reporting - ensure documentation is kept up to date.
- Work with the rest of the CoE Team in developing/executing future processes for GMG business.
- Provide support on ad‑hoc global GMG initiatives as needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing finance processes across international organisations.
- Experience in multinational/matrix organisations is advantageous.
- International and consumer experience preferred but not essential.
We are looking for a candidate with strong organisational and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, influencing stakeholders, and driving process improvements across global teams. This role works Monday – Friday, 37-hours per week.
