Join Us as a Shopper Marketing Manager!

The Role:

As a Shopper Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and executing our Shopper Marketing plans across a diverse customer base and multiple brands. You’ll develop and bring to life an annual Customer Marketing plan, ensuring our brands make a lasting impression in-store and online.

Overall Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of a £3m Shopper Marketing Instore Budget across the UK Retail Sector (Excl Online) and manage an annual NSV plan of approximately £90m.
  2. Evaluate all Shopper Marketing Activities, creating a comprehensive ROI record to inform medium-long term investment plans.
  3. Manage Amplify Instore merchandising services with an annual investment of £300k.
  4. Independently develop and execute the Trade/Shopper Marketing Calendar, supporting the sales team and leveraging opportunities within all bricks and mortar accounts.
  5. Manage the Shopper Marketing and Trade Allowance budgets for CDH UK.
  6. Develop account-specific brand plans, including promotional plans and product launches, in collaboration with the Brand & Category Management teams.
  7. Act as the point of contact for specified accounts on all Shopper Marketing matters and implement key initiatives.
  8. Ensure all plans are actionable and align with overall commercial and brand strategies.
  9. Execute an insight-driven and efficiency-focused approach to Shopper Activation, leveraging insights to maximize shopper engagement, conversion to sales, and ROI.
  10. Understand shopper behaviours across different formats (main store, convenience, and online) to ensure relevant and tailored execution.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Brings lots of energy, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a keen interest in personal development.
  2. Has branded FMCG experience within a Shopper/Trade Marketing-focused role.
  3. Shows a passion for shopper marketing!
  4. Demonstrates solid commercial acumen and a proven track record of building relationships.
  5. Is structured, organized, with strong attention to detail.
  6. Delivers activity with accuracy and pace.
  7. Maintains a positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
  8. Is highly numerate & analytical, comfortable working with detailed data.
  9. Has solid experience using Nielsen and Kantar data.
  10. Possesses very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills.

Working hours are 37 per week: Monday – Thursday 9-5pm and Friday 9-4.30pm. Flexibility outside of these hours may be required to meet the needs of the role and there will be occasional business travel required.
