Are you passionate about category development and shopper insights? Do you have a strong analytical skill set and a talent for creating effective channel marketing strategies? We're looking for a Category & Shopper Marketing Manager on a permanent basis to join our team and drive growth across our Global Markets Group EA customer base. This role is based at our London Euston office with hybrid working.

In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Director and take charge of all aspects of Category Development, including Promotional Review, Analysis, and Shopper Insights within our GMG EA customer base. You will also oversee the development and coordination of distributor, channel, and retailer plans across brands and retailers, ensuring strategic alignment and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop category/shopper data insights and drivers for strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align distributor plans with brand, category, and retailer strategies.
  • Manage Nielsen/GFK/IQVIA databases to meet CHD requirements.
  • Conduct continuous and ad hoc analysis using retail and Distributor IMS data.
  • Build customer presentations for brand launches and range reviews.
  • Evaluate promotional activities to assess ROI and effectiveness and share insights with commercial teams.
  • Ensure Nielsen, GFK, IQVIA, and Kantar databases are current.
  • Attend sales and marketing meetings and lead Customer Marketing discussions at top customer meetings.
  • Advocate for Category Management principles within CHD and enhance the Customer Marketing department's profile.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with CHD departments and establish strong relationships with Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Develop and nurture relationships within the customer base, data & insight partners, and retailer media partners.
  • Share promotional learnings to shape future plans.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Category Management, including 3 years in a multi-country distributor RTM environment. You will be highly numerate and analytical, with proficiency in Nielsen/IRI and Kantar data, and skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. As a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be confident, assertive, and driven to grow within the company. You must be a collaborative team player, ready to support and thrive in team environments. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree‑level.

Working Hours & Contract
Working hours are 37 per week: Monday – Thursday 9‑5 pm and Friday 9‑4:30 pm. This is a 5‑month Fixed Term Contract.
