We’re seeking a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team – supporting global projects, developing supplier relationships, and helping to deliver best‑in‑class sourcing across multiple product categories. This position is for a fixed‑term contract for Maternity Cover, looking at covering up to 12‑months. The role is based at our UK Corporate Office on Shearway Business Park in Folkestone, Kent, working 2 – 3 days per week on site, with the remainder working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial relationship between Project Management and external suppliers.
  • Manage intercompany brands across a range of categories.
  • Assist the Procurement team with administrative and coordination tasks.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and attend regular supplier meetings.
  • Run RFQs for projects and support cost/lead‑time updates.
  • Provide price confirmations and support achievement of target COGS.
  • Manage vendor master data in SAP, including PIR creation.
  • Maintain relationships and KPIs with contract manufacturers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal departments.
  • Offer cover for Buyers when required.

Education & Experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain principles.
  • Some knowledge of purchasing within Pharma, Food Supplements, Cosmetics or Medical Devices is advantageous (but not essential for the right learner).
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors beneficial.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a multinational, cross‑functional environment.
