We’re Hiring! Coordinator Wanted to join the Chunnel Team

We are looking for a full-time Coordinator to join our busy team, we are a family-run business and specialise in a comprehensive range of services, including plant hire, earthworks, sea defences, contracting, and heavy haulage across the Southeast and throughout the UK.

As a full-time team member, you will be central to the smooth and efficient running of our busy operations.

Monday – Friday (7:30am – 6:00pm) with occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Coordinator: Handling customer and operator enquiries, coordinating yard and workshop personnel, hands on with plant requirements and offering support, ordering parts and ensuring smooth and efficient running with Management.

Workshop: Ordering fuels and lubricants for yard and site, oversee the storage and distribution of parts and oils, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Security: Responsible for opening security gates/workshop and reception office, same procedures to be carried out at the end of the day.

Communication Handling: Organising logistics, following up efficient delivery times for fuel and parts, returns to be processed efficiently and maintaining effective communication channels with management.

Administrative Support: Perform various office tasks, overseeing job sheets and document completion and filing, to support daily operations.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

Delivery Coordination: Organise and track deliveries, ensuring all documentation is accurate and that deliveries meet customer requirements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and colleagues across departments, contributing to special projects and supporting various administrative functions as needed.
