Chumley is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale internal and customer-facing products from the ground up. You will work end-to-end across the stack, with a strong focus on modern front-end tooling, performant back-end services, and deep integrations with internal systems like Salesforce.

  • Building fast, responsive front-end interfaces using React and Vite.
  • Integrating core products with Salesforce and other operational systems.
  • Developing and maintaining features that support field engineers and operations teams.
  • Experimenting with AI and chatbots to automate workflows and improve user and customer experiences.

Strong proficiency with:

  • React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and Vite or equivalent tooling.
  • Node.js or similar with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience integrating or working with Salesforce (APIs, webhooks, or data pipelines).
  • Good understanding of application architecture, performance, and security.
  • Comfort working in a small, fast-moving startup, taking ownership from idea to deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, or building chatbots (support bots, internal assistants, or workflow automations).
  • Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modelling.
  • Previous work on tools for trades, field services, logistics, or other operations-heavy environments.

A role that combines web apps, Salesforce, and AI automation to solve real-world problems at scale.
