To support increased nursery provision, we areseeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, patient and motivated FoundationStage Practitioner to join our team at Chulmleigh Primary School.
Thesuccessful candidate will work with the teacher and senior staff to ensure acreative learning environment within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.The role will involve high-quality practice through a range of interesting andstimulating activities and supervision of individuals and groups of children inthe nursery or foundation stage unit.
We are delighted to offer this permanent appointment. Ideally, thesuccessful candidate will be available to cover from November.
Candidates should demonstrate thefollowing skills and attributes:
- Hold a recognised Level3 Early Years qualification
- Hold suitable Level 2Literacy and Numeracy qualifications
- Excellentcommunication skills
- Patience andpositivity
- The abilityto support colleagues, use positive behaviour management strategies and ensurethe school continues its excellent provision for all pupils
The working pattern will be two days perweek, to include Tuesday, from 08.30 am - 3:30 pm - allowing for a 30-minuteunpaid lunch break. However, due to the popularity of the provision, the idealcandidate will have flexibility to work additional hours on a casual basis whenrequired.
The role is term time only (38 weeks peryear).
