Job Description
Join our EMEA TPRM Office Team as an MI/BI specialist, where you will provide deep data insights to EMEA Third Parties. Your work will range from analysing Inventory trends and KPIs to developing sophisticated reporting and data analytics. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role based in our Glasgow City Centre office.
The role is responsible for:
- Leading TPRM Office data analytics and advanced data generation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and communicating/escalating to stakeholders as needed.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, prioritizing initiatives, and managing their implementation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to introduce metrics, models to identify and manage third parties, and controls.
- Establishing a strong understanding of TPRM and other third-party data sources to generate, validate, and discuss data sources and validity.
- Engaging in ongoing projects identified as MI/BI critical.
This is an area of increasing regulatory change with a strong focus on delivering a data-centric culture and ensuring operational resilience. There is a need to be proactive, keep up to date with Procurement and TPRM processes and system changes, and any regulatory developments, ensuring that any changes identified are made to TPRM processes. The role may also provide support on further activities as required within the TPRM team.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar business analyst role.
- Relevant professional qualification, degree, or equivalent.
- Strong sense of execution and accountability, with the ability to explain complex matters simply to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking on a regional level, with the ability to anticipate future trends and develop relevant hypotheses.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Insurance or equivalent industry.
- Specific BI MI Team or Data analytics skills & experience.
