Chubb have a new role available in our Financial Lines Claims Team. Come and make a significant impact in our highly experienced, market-leading team as Senior Claims Adjuster. This role can be based in our Birmingham or London office.
The Regional Senior Claims Adjuster is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Financial Lines Professional Indemnity and Healthcare claims, with a primary focus on Chubb Global Markets business written in North America, the UK, and internationally. This role will also have an opportunity across other sub-lines of business, such as Management Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Commercial Legal Liability, and Directors & Officers insurance. The portfolio includes a mix of complex and high-severity cases.
The Senior Claims Adjuster handles claims from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to best practices and delivering high-quality outcomes. In addition to managing their own caseload, the Senior Adjuster provides guidance and support to Claims Adjusters and collaborates with other Senior Adjusters, Technical Leads, Technical Managers, and the Team Manager as needed, depending on the complexity and support required. This role is distinguished by its breadth of responsibility, technical expertise, and the opportunity to influence claims outcomes across multiple jurisdictions and lines of business.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiating settlements with policyholders, brokers, solicitors, and third parties to achieve successful outcomes.
- Manage your own caseload, ensuring prompt, accurate, and cost-effective resolution of claims.
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients, upholding Chubb’s reputation for quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with a team of experts, maintaining high claims service standards with third-party providers.
- Represent Chubb at key meetings with brokers, clients, and London market representatives, building and nurturing vital relationships.
- Support senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters on projects and ad-hoc initiatives, contributing to the ongoing success of our business.
- Strong technical knowledge of Financial Lines and PI insurance, with proven claims handling experience.
