What You\’ll Be Doing
As a
Credit Control Specialist
, you\’ll play a pivotal role in managing premium receivables and ensuring bad debt exposure is minimized. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning a Major Broker Portfolio: Take charge of premium receivables for a key UK broker account, ensuring timely collections and cash reconciliation.
- Driving Results: Deliver on targets for overdue premiums, unapplied/unallocated cash, and claims, escalating issues where necessary.
- Building Relationships: Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, operations, claims teams, and external suppliers to maximize cash collection and improve processes.
- Monitoring Performance: Track broker and co-insurer performance against Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs), taking action to mitigate delays and enhance settlement processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains in collaboration with the UKI Credit Control Team Leader.
- Supporting Offshore Teams: Provide clear instructions and coaching to offshore counterparts, ensuring seamless administrative processes and continuous improvement.
- Reporting: Regularly update the UKI Credit Control Team Leader on premium receivable positions, collection status, and key metrics.
