  • Provide timely advice and support on day‑to‑day compliance queries, helping colleagues navigate regulatory and policy requirements with confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the UK Compliance Plan, supporting the delivery of business and regulatory actions across all business lines.
  • Work collaboratively on cross‑functional projects, ensuring compliance considerations are identified early and embedded effectively into business initiatives and objectives.
  • Engage with regulators where appropriate, representing Chubb’s interests professionally and supporting the preparation of regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory developments, helping the business respond in a timely and effective manner to change.
  • Oversee and help resolve compliance incidents, ensuring issues are managed promptly, appropriately, and with a focus on effective outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support compliance training and awareness initiatives, helping to strengthen understanding and accountability across the business.

Qualifications

  • Strong and in‑depth understanding of UK insurance regulation, including consumer and commercial insurance products, Consumer Duty, Product Governance, Insurance Conduct of Business, and Appointed Representatives.
  • Significant experience providing compliance advice in a regulated financial services or insurance environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to assess complex issues, apply sound judgement, and provide practical, risk‑based advice.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across functions.
