b Overview /b p In this role you will drive new P C package business in the North region, balancing new business and renewals while engaging broker partners. You will work within Chubb’s technical guidelines to establish underwriting authority and deliver rapid, high-quality service. You’ll focus on middle-market opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to grow the broker pipeline and uphold underwriting integrity. This is a chance to shape the Commercial Insurance agenda and represent a respected global brand. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive salary pension scheme /li li 25 days annual leave + 5 extra /li li Private medical cover /li li Employee Share Purchase Plan /li li Life assurance /li li Subsidised gym membership /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Underwrite, quote and convert new and existing P C package business in the middle-market segment in line with targets /li li Cross-sell other product lines to support the commercial insurance strategy /li li Engage regularly with producers and BDMs to build and execute a pipeline of opportunities /li li Use effective trading, negotiation and engagement to close new opportunities /li li Deliver high underwriting service levels and fast response times to brokers /li li Collaborate with sales, distribution, risk engineering, operations and underwriting management /li li Maintain underwriting integrity per Chubb guidelines and conduct regular peer reviews /li li Keep accurate underwriting records and data /li li Represent and promote Chubb to brokers and build strong producer relationships /li li Act as an advocate for the brand and uphold company values and standards /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Minimum 5 years’ experience in property and casualty underwriting /li li Proven track record in new business underwriting in the middle-market /li li Knowledge of middle-market insurance segment /li li Results-driven with ability to make decisions autonomously /li li Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment /li li Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills /li li Commitment to high underwriting service levels and rapid response times /li li CII qualifications or working towards is preferred /li /ul ul li interpersonal skills /li li verbal and written communication /li li collaboration /li li property and casualty underwriting /li li middle-market knowledge /li li pipeline development and opportunities management /li /ul
