Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of clear, insightful actuarial reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support decision‑making.
  • Improve existing reporting processes, controls, and data quality.
  • Drive actuarial data initiatives across pricing, modelling, reporting, and analytics.
  • Support the adoption of new technologies and data platforms to improve efficiency and insight.
  • Lead pricing modernisation projects and promote best practice across the team.
  • Partner with analytics, planning, reserving, CAT modelling, and underwriting teams.
  • Manage and develop the COG MI Manager and Actuarial Analyst.
  • Support the development of junior actuaries and encourage knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of property, casualty, cyber, financial lines, and marine insurance products.
  • At least 5 years' pricing experience in P&C insurance.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience delivering complex projects and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using large datasets.
  • Experience with SQL or Python is desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in a global or multi-regional environment is desirable.
