The Business Intelligence Manager will spearhead the GFO Business Intelligence department for Chubb European Group SE UK Branch, translating complex insurance data into actionable insights. You will own the end‑to‑end analytics lifecycle, from data acquisition and modelling to dashboard delivery and strategic reporting, ensuring the business makes informed decisions in a fast‑moving market.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the BI strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and BI developers.
- Design, build, and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across financial systems.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and other stakeholders to identify analytics needs.
- Manage stakeholder communication, presenting insights and recommendations.
- Promote self‑service analytics adoption throughout the organization.
- Conduct advanced analytics, including predictive modelling and trend analysis.
- Oversee vendor relationships, tool licensing, and technology roadmap.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable business insights.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Business Intelligence experience within the insurance financial sector.
- Proven track record of leading BI teams or large‑scale projects.
- Expertise in PowerBI and familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Strong SQL proficiency and data modelling capabilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of insurance domains such as underwriting, claims, and finance.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
