We’re looking to add a Technical Estimator to our team here at Frontline in Chalfont St Peter. A hybrid role, we’re looking for Security industry experience for this exciting new opportunity. The key focus for this position is to technically review tender documentation and proposals to ensure compliance with the requirements. The role includes working within the Sales & Estimating team as a technical resource assisting on system designs, technical details and approving quotation commercials and designs.

- Provide detailed updates and progress reports for tender technical reviews, design projects and PQQs
- Liaise at all levels (project managers, senior engineers, sales and directors)
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Accountability for technically reviewing documentation and quotations at pre‑sales stage in response to invitation to tender enquiries
- Work with the Sales team to meet bid specifications, providing technical detail and qualifications for inclusion in our bids
- Produce (where required) and input into compliance statements to consultant/client specifications
- Produce technical calculations, e.g. CCTV storage, battery load, UPS
- Compile design packs as part of the Sales to Project handover, including but not limited to layout drawings, panel/rack elevations, door elevations, single line schematics, specs, device schedules, document schedules, technical submittals, RAMS, programme of works, procurement schedule
- Experience working under pressure and managing multiple overlapping quick deadlines
- Competence in the operation of all relevant Information Technology solutions and applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work
