We're looking to add an experienced and qualified QEHS Business Partner here at Chubb, for a new opportunity covering the south of England. This is a key appointment for us, covering our Fire and Security business. Reporting to the Director of QEHS UK&I you will support your value stream so that you are able to implement all elements of the EHS MS and achieve compliance and best practice for all matters of EHS including the planning, development and implementation of programmes to drive continuous improvement.
Salary: Up to Β£60,000 dependent on experience

The Role:
You will work with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external and play a key role in the development of QEHS strategies, improvement plans and management reviews and to support business operations in their deployment of safe working practices. You will act as a key business partner to Senior Leaders and their management teams. You are required to regularly engage at team meetings, toolbox talks, report progress, trends, improvement opportunities, escalate concerns and non-compliance and make regular site visits to engage and coach others. You will habitually promote and assist in developing a culture that will achieve a safe workplace, free from occupational hazards that also protects the natural environment and contributes to the conservation of natural resources. You shall also support the maintenance of all EHS Certifications, Accreditations and Memberships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be the QEHS subject matter expert providing advice, guidance and specialist instructions to the relevant value stream leaders
- Act as Business Partner to Value Stream Managing Director and their team on all matters of QEHS, including advice, guidance and support. Attend meetings as required to relationship build and promote QEHS
- Develop an annual Value Stream QEHS Improvement plan, update and present progress reports on a Quarterly basis.
- Create and issue a Monthly Report for their value stream and present at meetings as required.
- Identify improvement opportunities in QEHS that could mitigate the likelihood of accidents and environmental incidents issues for all operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- IOSH Membership (CertIOSH Preferred)
- IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental qualification or experience
- Multi-site experience
- Experience of safety in a construction environment and use of subcontracted labour. NEBOSH Certificate in Construction or SMSTS preferred with appropriate CSCS Skillcard.
- Experience of a mobile work field-based workforce desirable
- Experience of accident investigation and identifying root cause and corrective actions
- Knowledge and experience of implementing and auditing QEHS Management systems certified to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
