We're looking to add a Service Engineer here at Chubb Community Care. Ideally based in the M6 corridor between Stoke on Trent and Warrington, this role is suited to an engineer with fire or security experience. Chubb Fire & Security has been protecting people and assets worldwide for more than 200 years, providing essential and innovative security systems, equipment and services, from digital CCTV surveillance and intruder alarms to fire detection and suppression systems. Salary: Up to £33,186.00 dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first‑line service/maintenance support to all company and third‑party products in use, when called upon.
  • Execute small works engineering functions from initial survey through installation to commissioning and customer handover.
  • Participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota (typically 1 week in 4).
  • Achieve minimum KPI targets for response and first‑time fix on all corrective and preventive maintenance visits.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:

  • Good basic education and ideally a relevant qualification in the electrical/electronic industry. Alternatively able to demonstrate in‑depth knowledge through assessment.
  • Good standard of IT skills (computer literate).
  • High level of customer service experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Sound technical knowledge in Warden/Nurse Call, access control, intercom systems.
