Here at Chubb Fire & Security, we are looking to add a Field Service Engineer to our Chubb Community Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warden/Nurse Call engineer, based ideally in the Central Midlands area. As well as the Service Engineering experience, we are also looking for a candidate with the ability to show compassion and empathy, due to the nature of the sites you will visit within our Community Care clients.

What You’ll be Doing as a Field Service Engineer

  • Carry out Corrective and Preventative Maintenance on Warden / Nurse Call, Access Control and Intercom systems in accordance with relevant company procedures, engineer instructions and specific system requirements.
  • Ensure that if installed system differs from the specification that the relevant documentation is complete and brought to the Supervisor / Management attention.
  • To provide small works engineering functions from initial survey, through installation to commissioning and customer handover.
  • To participate in an out of hours callout rota (typically 1 in 8).

What We Would Like You To Bring

  • Good basic education and ideally a relevant qualification in the electrical/electronic industry.
  • Alternatively able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge through assessment.
  • Good standard of IT skills. (Computer Literate).
  • High level of Customer Service experience – ideally in the Community Care field.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Sound technical knowledge in the following disciplines: Warden / Nurse Call, access control, Intercom systems.
  • Field Service Experience.
  • Based or able to easily commute to the Central Midlands area.
  • Compassion and empathy and to be comfortable in the Care environment and their clients.
