Here at Chubb Fire & Security we have an opportunity for a Environment and Sustainability Business Partner to join our team, working on a hybrid basis. The role will support all UK/ROI/NI Operations so they can achieve compliance and best practice for all matters of Environmental, Waste & Sustainability, including the planning, development and implementation of programmes to drive compliance, continuous improvement and best practice. The role will act as a key business partner to Senior Leaders and their management teams. You will regularly engage at team meetings, toolbox talk sessions, report progress, trends, improvement opportunities, escalated concerns and non‑compliance, and make regular site visits to engage and coach others. Regular travel around the Midlands and/or the North West will be required; the ideal candidate should be able to commute easily from those areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert providing advice, guidance and specialist instructions to the relevant value stream leaders on all matters of the environment, waste and sustainability.
- Act as Business Partner and lead to all operations on all matters of the environment, waste and sustainability, including advice, guidance and support.
- Develop, manage and maintain Environmental Aspects and Impacts Assessments for all UK/ROI/NI Operations.
- Manage the implementation of Science Based Targets as the project leader.
- Manage and lead on all ESOS Audit programmes and action plans.
- Make all required packaging returns in accordance with the Producer Responsibility Obligations Regulations.
- Develop an annual Improvement plan, update and present progress reports on a quarterly basis and conduct an annual EHS Management review.
- Maintain all Environmental & Waste Data and ensure all legal Waste Requirements are met, including any certificates, licences or permits.
- Support the maintenance of all Certifications, Accreditations and Memberships.
- Support the business external audit programme in meeting the requirements of ISO and any customer audits standards including addressing any identified non‑compliances.
- Conduct internal audits according to the internal audit schedule, support all external audits, customer, ISO as necessary.
- Support business operations so they can implement all policies, standard work instructions etc.
- Act as a Coach for all Operations and support local training needs analysis with management teams.
- Promote and review training compliance.
- Undertake inspections and audits at Chubb and 3rd Party sites (including clients and contractors) where necessary.
- Support incident investigations, conduct root cause and trend analysis, report findings to Senior Leadership where necessary and ensure programmes are implemented to make improvements, as required.
- Identify and facilitate Training programmes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Environmental Qualification (equivalent to Degree Level) and experience of managing Environmental & Waste Management Systems.
- Sustainability Qualification and experience of implementing Sustainability Schemes such as SBTi, Carbon Footprinting, Carbon Reduction Plans, ESOS Audits.
- IEMA Membership (Practitioner Preferred).
- Knowledge and experience of implementing and auditing QEHS Management systems certified to 14001.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Waste and Sustainability practices and legislation in the UK/IRE.
- Experience / Knowledge of operations in the Fire & Security sector an advantage.
- Full driving licence.
- The ideal candidate will be based around Midlands or the North West for regular travel.
