Company Description
Vipond Fire Protection, part of Chubb Fire & Security, is offering a Sprinkler Design Engineer position that can be remote, hybrid or office‑based depending on circumstances.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of sprinkler system designs for a variety of applications (large works, small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM)
- Design responsibility throughout the project life
- Production of technical documentation, installation drawings and coordination models
- Production of hydraulic calculations
- On‑site surveying where necessary
- Ensure compliance with the relevant design standards and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of LPCB Basic design qualification
- LPCB Intermediate and FHC design qualifications are an advantage
- Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential
- Knowledge of FM & NFPA standards is an advantage
- A degree or HND in a related discipline is an advantage
