We're on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in the fire Mechanical division. As a key player in our sales team, the main goal of this role is to sell the full portfolio fire mechanical systems service contracts to a range of existing customers and new business customers within the UK.

Job Description
Reporting into Fire Mechanical, as the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
- Growing Our Net New Service Portfolio as well as increasing current customer portfolio within the UK.
- Driving new business sales, identifying and engaging prospects directly.
- Managing existing accounts and strategically growing portfolio.
- Researching and uncovering customer needs, creating urgency and compelling value propositions.
- Preparing persuasive proposals that inspire change and deliver clarity to customer stakeholders.
- Building strategies for prospect engagement across multiple channels (LinkedIn, email, phone, events).
- Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Sharing insights and contributing to team success across the wider sales organisation.
- Managing performance through CRM systems and consistently achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Upholding company policies, compliance, and health and safety standards.
This is a home-based role, covering the UK.

- Proven track record in new business generation & lead conversion.
- A successful background in solution selling Fire suppression Service Sales would be an advantage.
- Strong sales methodology to support opportunity creation and decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Creative mindset to innovate service and product combinations for customer needs.
- Strong organisational skills and resilience under pressure.
- Ability to develop business plans with clear milestones.
- Commercial awareness and adaptability across markets.
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, PowerPoint) – training available.
- Full driving licence.
