Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Service Operations Manager and wider branch network to complete 4–8‑hour work orders and generate extra revenue into the business.
- Partner with the recommendation team and engineers to drive opportunities.
- Work with the commercial seller and Key Account Managers (KAMs) for leads not suitable for install.
- Take responsibility for quotes for all small works that come via the recommendation team, commercials, KAMs or other outlets such as enquiries via office admin.
- Provide excellent customer care (from understanding needs to keeping contact with ETA’s, timescales, etc.) and manage each order (including stock orders) throughout the process of quotation right through to signing off the works.
- Follow up on recommendations and quotes, ensuring the customer understands the reasoning and positive impact our upgrades will have.
Qualifications
- Experienced Security Engineer with a deep knowledge of Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, and CCTV.
- Ability to lift and climb ladders – advantage if holding an IPAF 3a & b cherry picker license.
- Always deliver excellent Customer Service.
