At Chubb, we are driven by a powerful purpose - to protect your world. We are looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst to our team here at Chubb Fire & Security. You will manage a portfolio of suppliers to buy direct material products for the fire and security business. Working alongside the Supply Chain Controller, you will manage our ERP system to order and distribute a range of products to our UK engineering workforce. Acting as a key liaison with the value stream leads and our central distribution centre, you will promote awareness and solve problems to support the timely completion of customer jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain all vendor purchase orders to buy stock in line with company policy.
- Maintain ERP master data to drive the materials planning system.
- Work with Product Technical teams to plan forthcoming promotions and product changes.
- Work with Chubb branch operations teams to control and optimize local inventory levels.
- Work with the value stream Operations leads to manage obsolete stock levels.
- Collaborate with all branches to execute the annual stocktake process.
- Maintain all ERP records related to the various outbound logistics systems in use.
- Attend regional/branch meetings to identify improvement actions and implement.
- Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
- Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by the Company.
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
- Experience in a supply chain Accounts Payable or customer service roles.
- Good use of Microsoft Office; particularly Excel for data manipulation.
- Previous use of any ERP system like JD Edwards is an advantage.
- Willing to learn tasks by following work instructions and happy to learn on the job.
- Desire to give customer service and understanding the wider impact of our actions.
- Flexible approach, confident to work in a team, willing to pick up other work at short notice.
- Reliable, courteous and mature enough to handle challenging stakeholders.
