Here at Chubb Fire & Security we have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our ‘Best in Class’ finance shared services team based in Blackburn (BB1 2PR) on a full time, permanent basis.

SALARY: Starting from £25,000 up to £27,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

What You’ll be Doing As a Credit Controller

The main goal of the credit controller is to contact customers to collect outstanding account balances, work with customers to understand their situation and resolve outstanding payment issues.

You will:

  • Work to targets for monthly cash collection and quarterly aged debt
  • Achieve monthly KPI targets
  • Manage internal stakeholders and build strong relationships
  • Problem solving and process improvement
  • Update customer account information and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare overdue debts for legal action
  • Receive inbound calls from customers taking full responsibility for actions through to completion

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 9-5

For your probationary period (6 months) this will be a fully office based role, upon successful completion of probation you will be offered hybrid working (2 days from home).
