We're looking to add a Proposals Engineer to our team here at Chubb, on a hybrid basis, based out of our Blackburn HQ. This is a key role, working closely with our new business team ensuring all designs and bids on multimillion pound projects are produced to a high quality, and within the required budget and timescale.

Goals and Objectives:

  • To develop, and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, clients, partners, and subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Support organic growth via innovative design solutions.
  • Fully contribute to the delivery of the team KPIs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • System design and costings of large scale solutions.
  • Bid responsibility throughout the sales cycle.
  • Preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Identification and selection of equipment which meets specification.
  • Communicate with supply chain on costings.
  • Presentation of bid content and rationale to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Experience of the design of Integrated Security Systems (e.g. CCTV, Intruder and Access Control Networks) is a necessity.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Prior experience of the Security industry and compliance standards is required.
  • Competence in the operation of all relevant Information Technology solutions and applications, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
