Chalfont St Peter, Chubb Fire & Security Ltd. We’re looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to our team here at Chubb, to work on Hinkley Point C and other projects. A southern based role, this is a key hire for us and as such we’re looking for a QS from a M&E or Civils background. A remote role, this role will have sporadic travel to site.

- Administration of the Main Contract(s) including assisting with Project Control information
- Change Management and Cash collection
- Administration of the Subcontract Agreements holistically under the portfolio, including execution of the project subcontract strategy
- Provide advisory service regarding various standard forms of agreement (including JCT, NEC)
- Project Management
- Working with the Project Manager to identify early warnings within the Subcontract environment
- Assisting in the administration of Instructions and the like
- Assisting with preparation of accurate project control information to evaluate progress against the agreed construction programme
- Project Accounting
- Periodic Cost Value Reconciliation(s)
- Periodic Cash Flow Forecasting and monitoring
- Monitoring of budget against expenditure and reporting on variances
- Experience in business processes with a “hands-on” approach, sharing and enacting best practice
- Experience of Quantifying works in accordance with Standard Measurement Rules
- Experience in the Administration of Contracts in both Client and Subcontract
- Experience in influencing and management of confrontational and difficult situations in a professional manner
