We are seeking an experienced Small Works Fire Engineer to install, commission and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in the London region. In this field-based role, you will manage small projects independently, ensure compliance with BS5839, and deliver high-quality fire safety solutions through fault finding, remedial work and system upgrades. This role is 37.5 hours Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Produce quotations for small works and manage jobs from enquiry to completion
- Work with recommendations, commercial teams and Key Account Managers to progress opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout each project
- Identify upgrade and improvement opportunities for clients
- Manage your own diary and area
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience as a Fire Engineer with strong fire alarm system knowledge
- Ability to work at height; IPAF 3a/3b advantageous
- Strong customer-focused approach and ability to work independently
- Real teamwork ethic and a can-do attitude
- Current Driving Licence
