Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements for clients from a wide range of industries
- Carry out assurance engagements based on careful audit planning and preparation of appropriate work papers
- Build and maintain strong connections with clients
- Lead juniors in engagements and ensure timely submission of reports
- Assist on special projects
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing
- Ability to read and interpret technical standards and routine commercial contracts
- Ability to recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements
- Strong understanding of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, testing and sampling methods
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Resourceful, meticulous and proactive
- Willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree / Professional degree
- At least 3-5 years of relevant audit experience in a professional accounting firm
