Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor required - NEC Experience needed - Up to £100,000 plus package I'm currently working with one of the leading M&E Contractors who have secured a £40million rail & infrastructure project based in West London. They are now recruiting for a Senior M&E QS to join their solid team of surveyors and take a lead on this project. The client have offices in Central London also, so this can be split between the two locations as an option. Experience working within the rail sector on NEC Contracts will be required for this position, ideally on projects valued £20m upward. Duties • The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts • Liaise with the Contracts Managers in the procurement of Sub-Contractor packages and the preparation of the Sub-Contract documents • Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works • The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors • Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets • Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance. • Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager. • preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting. • Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis • Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders. • Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.
