Intermediate M&E QS Required – Up to £60,000 plus package\\n\\nI’m currently working with one of the leading M&E Contractors in London who are looking to recruit an additional Intermediate M&E QS to their team to help support their Senior Surveyors and Commercial Managers. The business have a great reputation for developing their staff and there will be an opportunity to manage your own smaller project in the coming years under the supervision of a Commercial Manager.\\n\\nIdeal experience will be working within the commercial sector on projects valued at least £5m M&E and for someone to be degree qualified.\\n\\nTypical work is within the commercial shell & core, data centres and commercial fit out sectors covering multiple projects across London valued anywhere up to £80m M&E\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\n * Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.\\n\\n * Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.\\n\\n * Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.\\n\\n * Prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts.\\n\\n * Commercial vetting of sub contractor tenders and contracts.\\n\\n * Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.\\n\\n * Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.\\n\\n * Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Ambitious and enthusiastic towards their career and projects\\n\\n * Strong communication skills\\n\\n * Experience working within an M&E Contractor\\n\\n * Relevant qualifications\\n\\nFor further information and to discuss this role, or a selection of other roles I am currently recruiting in more detail for either yourself or someone you know please give me a call on (phone number removed)
