This is a new opportunity to join one of the leading M&E Contractors in London who have a well established Commercial team and a healthy pipeline of projects going well into 2027. They are now seeking a Commercial Assistant to join their team and to assist across multiple projects by supporting their QS department. They offer a great company culture with a comprehensive benefits package including paid travel and training/progression available. Vibrant offices in Central London with regular social events across the business.
Typical Duties:
- Raise and allocate Order Numbers on COINS for all Sub-Contracts and Letters of Intent.
- Ensuring sub-contractor QA approval has been achieved and liaising with the QHSE department to achieve this.
- Check all Sub-Contractor Insurances are valid and all updated Insurance Certificates are loaded onto COINS.
- Assisting the Quantity Surveyors in the preparation of Sub-Contract Documentation and ensuring contracts are submitted in line with company procedures.
- Raising Purchase Orders where applicable.
- Printing and issuing Sub-Contract orders and Letters of Intent. Raise Sub-Contract Orders onto COINS, insert descriptions of work, commodity code, order value and attach supplementary documents i.e. meeting minutes, Articles and signed PAS.
- Check all Numbered documents are correct and produce CD’s.
- Issue all Completed Sub-Contract Orders out by Post. Issue a copy of the covering page of the Order by email, to the Sub-Contractor and Quantity Surveyor so they are aware the order has been issued.
- Copy all Sub-Contract Documents, including Numbered Documents onto the Server.
