Mechanical Project Manager Required - Basildon & London £65,000 plus package
I’m currently working with a mid sized M&E Contractor based in Central Essex who are now looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who will work closely with the Directors and to also mentor more junior members of staff and assist with training and development.
The company specialises in providing Mechanical and Electrical Building Services encompassing design, supply, installation, and commissioning within the traditional installation sector along with a growing presence within the renewables market. Their projects primarily span the Commercial, Residential, Retail & renewables sectors, with contract values typically ranging from £50k to £2m. Assignments are concentrated in Essex and London, requiring a balanced work week split between on-site responsibilities and the Head Office in Basildon.

What you will be doing?
- Responsible for the technical aspects of projects reporting to the Directors.
- Responsible for the weekly/monthly financial statistics, reporting to the team.
- Ensuring that the project requirements are followed from inception to completion and handover with the support of the Directors.
- Coordinating all project activities between the relevant client, equipment suppliers, contractors, attending onsite meetings or via video meeting platforms.
- Coordinating technical support when required for the teams on site.
- Supporting the team with the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensuring standard documents are continually used and maintained including the project design from specification to full design, Schedule of Deliverables, Technical submittals, RFI etc.
Experience
- Knowledge in mechanical services, HVAC, plumbing, Domestic services & BMS Controls.
- HVAC plant knowledge.
- H & S Accreditation (CSCS Card or equivalent)
- IT Literate with experience of MS Office Products, Google Cloud.
- Technical experience.
