What you’ll do
- Assist the Cook in the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in accordance with the Home’s policies and procedures, including the provision of specialist diets.
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy ensuring the highest standard of hygiene and safety.
- When required, assist with the service of meals and drinks.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with HACCP regulations.
About You
- An awareness of Health and Safety, HACCP and COSHH and subsequent revisions or ability to attain.
- Able to plan and organise own workload effectively and to ensure that routine tasks are carried out promptly and to the highest standard.
- Flexible and Adaptable – adopts a practical approach to achieve the required results.
