Overview

Ready to lead the brains behind the build? Our client, a major player in affordable housing, mixed-tenure and regeneration projects, is on the hunt for a Head of Technical / Technical Director to take the reins of their technical and design function. This is a senior, permanent leadership role where you'll shape strategy, inspire teams, and help deliver communities that genuinely make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Driving technical strategy from early design and estimating through to site delivery
  • Leading, mentoring and motivating a high-performing technical team
  • Overseeing the full technical lifecycle of complex housing projects
  • Ensuring smart, compliant and cost-effective design solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong background in multi-tenure housing or contracting environments
  • Deep knowledge of design management, construction methods, planning and procurement
  • A natural leader who enjoys both strategy and hands-on problem solving
  • Someone ready to operate at senior regional level

Package

  • £80,000 - £120,000 DOE
  • Company car or car allowance
