Overview
The Company is a Nottingham based business specialized in the development & manufacture of new food supplements and personal care products for customers in the UK and overseas. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and expanding health and beauty business. You will be part of a small production team and be responsible for a wide range of manufacturing and warehouse activities.
The successful candidate will report to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for a range of duties which are essential to the smooth running of the manufacturing and warehouse. Applicants should have good attention to detail and be able to apply themselves to important tasks. The ideal candidate would have a good standard of education and be hands-on and practical.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Operating a variety of machinery, and testing equipment including balances, blenders & processing units.
- Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment.
- Following detailed instructions, ensuring high quality and accuracy at all times.
- Inspecting intermediate and finished products for quality and adhering to high quality standards.
- Completing and maintaining essential production documentation.
- Packing of finished products.
- General warehouse work, ie receipt of goods, preparing products for dispatch.
