Role Overview You will contribute actively to Chrysalis Supported Association’s board by providing strategic direction, setting policy, defining goals, and evaluating performance against agreed targets, meeting the needs of our tenants. What difference will you make? You will contribute to the strategic direction and growth of a specialist housing provider that sits in a group of organisations providing a range of supporting services including addiction recovery, counselling, domestic violence support, and helping to make a difference to our tenants and clients’ lives. Your work will enable them to live as independent a life as they are able. What are we looking for? You should have a passion to assist others feel safe in their own home, supported appropriately, and be able to operate within a group structure, liaising with other boards and prepared to develop areas of expertise within the sector. You should bring your own skills and contribute to future growth. Specialty interests We are especially interested in trustees with a specialist supported housing background, services supporting vulnerable client groups, or who have governance, legal, or financial experience with a passion for helping those we support. We would really like to hear from you. Location Hybrid Key Responsibilities • Ensure Chrysalis Supported Association complies with its governance documents, charity law, company law, and any other relevant legislation or regulations. • Keep up to date with internal and external factors that could impact the Association’s activities. • Ensure the effective and efficient administration and financial stability of the Association. • Operate across the country to develop accommodation for tenants with specific needs, including learning difficulties, mental health issues, those escaping domestic violence, or recovering from substance abuse. • Support many clients with additional services such as counselling and work skills development.
